I was indirectly introduced to this by an LJ friend, when I came across a blog she shares with her friend. They've dedicated the blog to chronicling their experiences with the book -- check it out for size. They haven't done much yet, but the "destroying" looks pretty fun already.
This is something I really do want to try. But because I do not wish to 1) puncture any more holes into my wallet by buying yet another book (I have been spending so much money on music and reading material lately), 2) I have notebooks lying around just waiting to be used, and 3) Keri Smith has (most of) the instructions posted online, I'm not going to buy the book, but rather subject an unused notebook to the fun and madness of creative destruction and destructive creation.
*sigh* This is if I get around to doing this. I know I have a horrible habit of starting a creative project, and abandoning it halfway through. But I really hope that if I do decide to start this particular project, I'll see it through to the end.

Ha
I like your 'walking on clouds' piece - it reminds me of that moment when you're on a plane and it pulls above a big fluffy, seemingly solid cloudbank (:
